You simply just need to make sure you have the drivers that are needed installed, and that you get the latest GFWL from the website, not from the games folder that comes with them, or trying to do an update, as update doesn't work. :) Nope, I tested the games myself, and my new system from 2016 has been Windows 10 ever since, never been upgraded from another OS, and they all work fine. I had many games installed on my windows 7 that worked on windows 10 upgrade for this reason. in yellow and supported OS windows 7 and windows xp. and sites like Steam that sell this game includes the quote>Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Games for Windows Live. It even says it on the Microsoft download site. It will install to a new windows 10 but the support for windows Live has been removed therefor it will not launch. Besides that, Red River works fine on Win10 and GFWL is no issue whatsoever, i played Red River about a month ago and it did fine!
